About US
Soundwaves Pro-Audio is a family business based in Hawick in the heart of the Scottish Borders, owned by Scott Mitchell.
Scott started his career playing bass and lead guitar in bands with his brother, Stuart. They played many gigs all over with bands such as, The Glowbombs, Divastate and Slyde, who later became Suburbia with fame academy's Ainslie Henderson.
Scott has always been the "sound guy" for every band he has played in and now has more the 16 years experience in live sound. He has worked with top tribute acts such as Greendayz, Hi-On Maiden, BonGiovi, Bryan Jovi, The Bohemians, The Fillers, ABBA Gold and many more. Scott can safely say that he has worked with nearly every band in the Scottish Borders from SHTUMM to The Strangers to The Stevie T Band and everyone in between, you usually find him behind the mixing desk at every major common riding in the borders.
Also, as mentioned his brother Stuart joins the team. Being one of the most experienced drummers in the area, Stuart brings his vast knowledge to the table. So between Scott and Stuart producing your CD or helping you during rehersals, you are in safe hands. With Scott's 8 year old son, Robbie receiving drum lessons from his Uncle, it won't be long before he is part of the team aswell.
